Terms & Conditions
General
Registrations
By registering for any of POSSIBLE FUTURES events, workshops or courses, registrants have exercised their own due diligence and have thoroughly read and understood the terms specified in the relevant information pages at time of registration.
POSSIBLE FUTURES reserves the right to deny or withdraw services at our own discretion, which can include situations where our clearly-defined boundaries have been deemed by us to be crossed irredeemably.
In such cases where services are withdrawn before delivery has commenced, a full refund will be issued. Where services are in the process of being delivered, a pro-rata refund will be issued, or as determined by the POSSIBLE FUTURES Crew.
Boundaries
In any service or engagement, the POSSIBLE FUTURES Crew sets clear boundaries in advance. This is typically done in writing, verbally, or in-recording.
This includes but is not limited to:
Our boundaries regarding public interactions
Our stance on using artificial intelligence
Our basic requirements for collaborators and potential collaborators
With respect for Right Relationship, we aim to communicate clearly at all times. We are committed and accountable to Global South perspectives and practices serving true and radical decolonisation.
Intellectual property
POSSIBLE FUTURES registers copyrights and trademarks as we create content, especially where it is publicly-accessible or provided within an unvetted space hosted by ourselves, such as an online event.
Original content that we make publicly accessible or that we provide in an unvetted space may be shared or distributed by others as desired, as long as credited appropriately. This includes our approaches towards workshop and facilitation design.
Unless otherwise stated, we do not consent for any of our original content that we do not disclose publicly ourselves to be shared or distributed by others in any way. This includes content disclosed in non-public spaces such as events, workshops, courses, direct consultations and other services.

Design & Content
Permissions
POSSIBLE FUTURES develops proprietary design, facilitation and content for our own publications, workshops and courses. We do not permit for any of our proprietary design, facilitation and/or content to be replicated by others in any circumstances without our written consent. Depending on the extremity and extent of plagiarism committed, legal action may be taken.
Anyone seeking to steal, co-opt or copy our proprietary design, facilitation and/or content may be restricted from accessing any or all of our work in perpetuity.
At least 50% of all monetary proceeds from amicable or legal settlement associated with the above will be donated to our Global Core partners projects and organisations.
DecSust
Intro to Decolonial Sustainability is designed to be a strictly-facilitated decolonial space. Course participants may expect course organisers to exercise Right Relationship via a clearly-defined Zero Tolerance Policy.
Violations are addressed in-session and/or via email.
Where course participants continue to behave in an uncooperative, disrespectful or otherwise disruptive manner, for example repeatedly seeking to justify their behaviours, they may be expelled from the course without refund.
Course design and original course content may not, under any circumstances, be disseminated in public or disclosed to those who are not participating in, or have not completed, the course.
ColMech
Mechanisms of Ongoing Colonisation is a self-led, self-paced, inquiry-based course. Access to course materials are limited to registrants only.
Course design and original course content may not, under any circumstances, be disseminated in public or disclosed to those who are not participating in, or have not completed, the course.
Original content that participants create by responding to inquiries presented by the course are owned by the participants themselves.
Participants’ ColMech-derived original content, whether used in products or activities that generate revenue or not, are to be credited appropriately, e.g. “created with Mechanisms of Ongoing Colonisation, POSSIBLE FUTURES, [year participated]”.
